What is ISO Certification?
ISO stands for The International Organisation for Standardisation. This is an international standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organisations. It was founded on 23 February 1947. The ISO promotes worldwide proprietary, industrial, and commercial standards.
Requirements for ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organisation:
- Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. This includes processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
